I believe the best you can do is... to install it on your own PC!  

Mailman runs even on desktops and installing it yourself you can really 
improve your translation, because otherwise you couldn't understand what 
certain .po strings mean.

Ok, I must admit that connecting a normal mailbox to a desktop mailman can be 
difficult, but experimenting with the GUI and CLI should be really easy.
