Don't forget that password reminders are sent in the user's preferred language, not the list's preferred language. I just tried it with Catalan in Mailman 2.1.3+ with a couple of English users and a couple of Catalan users. Everything seemed to work as expected. -Barry From m_syafii at telkom.net Sun Nov 2 09:34:37 2003 From: m_syafii at telkom.net (syafii) Date: Mon Nov 3 09:57:11 2003 Subject: [Mailman-i18n] translate mailman into indonesian Message-ID: hai everybody, my name is syafii, i want to translate mailman into indonesian languange, how can i do it ? is there any manual to translate it, and how to the procedure to translate it > =========================================================================================== "Instan Diskon Setiap Hari"... Start with logs/error -- you should see tracebacks there with the corresponding unsent messages in qfiles/shunt. You can translate Mailman piecemeal, and whatever isn't translated will default back to English. For example, you can start by translating the templates one by one. The big chore will be to translate the message catalog. You'll start with mailman.pot and use something like po-mode or KBabel (other tools?) to translate each message in the catalog. Even there you don't have to do the whole thing. Any untranslated message will just default back to English. You can send me whatever you come up with at any time. It's fairly easy to update things, although I am planning on releasing a 2.1.4 before the end of the year. I could definitely add Icelandic to that version. -Barry From barry at python.org Sun Nov 30 17:04:58 2003 From: barry at python.org (Barry Warsaw) Date: Sun Nov 30 17:05:02 2003 Subject: [Mailman-i18n] Slovenian translation - where it is?
