[Mailman-Developers] Network is unreachable

This is more a question for mailman-users at python.org, but ...

Mailman is unable to connect the the SMTP server defined as SMTPHOST in
Defaults.py/mm_cfg.py. This is normally 'localhost'.

Do you have an entry like

127.0.0.1  localhost

in /etc/hosts?
