[Mailman-Developers] Defaults.py and the build process

Hi,

I've added some settings to 'Defaults.py.in' in the hope that these
settings will be reflected in /usr/local/mailman/Mailman/Defaults.py
following a configure/make/make install [1]. However, Defaults.py ends up
containing only the 'normal' lines, finishing with 'del _'. This happens
even if I delete Defaults.py before I run the build.

Am I doing something wrong? How does the build process generate
Defaults.py?

[1] of course, site settings should go in mm_cfg.py. However, I've added
some stuff to the standard Mailman code and my new features need some
config settings - so these aren't really site settings.
