"Standard Reply" from what program? Many MUAs are broken
(especially those from Microsoft), and they will not do the correct
thing pretty much no matter what. If you try to tune the list for a
particular MUA, you usually end up breaking it for most everyone else.
The mailman authors have gone to some fairly significant lengths
to be as broadly compatible as possible. I'm not sure that this can
be improved, unless you have a specific user community that you can
afford to customize for, at the cost of anyone using anything else.
