Okay, here we go. I added an address to one of my lists, and then 
deleted it again. Here are the log entries.

So it sends a message to the unsubscribed address, then it sends a 
message to the -request address, which mailman then happily throws out, 
and then it sends a message to -owner, which I got.

why is mailman sending the unsub to -request here? and throwing it out?
