[Mailman-Developers] Duplicates, mostly

Hey folks,

Having just spent a good few weeks with a crowbar retrofitting Mailman
to our hideous old Majordomo setup, it all appears to be working rather
nicely. There is only one exception... dreaded duplicates.

I noticed a patch posted a few months back (by Ben Gerzfield) for the
CVS version, but given that this is a production system for a large
client I'd prefer to keep it stable. Is there any way this duplicate
avoidance can be easily grafted on to 2.0.8?
