Umm, those are his wires within his network, not the wires to the
great untapped 'network at large.  Yeesh.  MTAs are fundamentally
disk IO bound.  No two ways about it.  Not much you can do about it
either, not without violating the commit semantics of the protocol.

<shrug> Chuq speaks better for himself than I do.
