Will there be an option or an easy edit to not use the
"X-Mailman-Version:" header field?

It might be nice to have a ./configure option something like
"--paranoid-advertiser" for those whose policy is to not advertise the
specific version of daemons and the like.  --paranoid-advertiser would
not use the X-Mailman-Version header field , would not have the
version number in the logo on the web pages, and would not otherwise
advertise the version number.

Presumably anybody smart enough to be paranoid would also be
thoughtful enough to mention the version where appropriate when
seeking help and so forth.  :-)
