[Mailman-Developers] Patience please - admindb.py question

When handling administrative requests for a list, the text of a message is
displayed in TEXTAREA form elements.  After looking through the code in
admindb.py, it appears that any edits to the message are discarded.
Correct?

I'm just now starting to poke through the code. I'm just now starting to
learn Python.  I'll try to limit my dumb questions as much as possible.

Is there a design document publicly available?
