Actually, I don't *think* this is a requirement anymore.  I've been
running some small test lists with myself as the owner, but all the
files group-owned `mailman'.  That, in combination with the set-gid
bit (*not* the set-uid bit), seems to work for both web and mail
access to the files.

I'm still not 100% sure that set-gid works across NFS though (can't
test it right now).
