They are simply unreadable right now, and that greatly limits the visibility
and useability of our pipermail lists.

Happens with *at least* mac safari and firefox.

This sounds like the following bug.

If so, you might bring this up on the mailman-users mailing list, as it looks
like the fix is fairly simple.  Mark might be able to squeeze this into the
2.1.15 release.
