Initial Comment:
The Installation Guide's step 4:

     O  Run bin/check_perms -f

is broken!  It needs to be changed to:

     O  cd /usr/local/mailman
     O  Run bin/check_perms -f

You also need to add the following missing step as per check_perms' complaint just after the new "cd"
command above to satisfy check_perms:

     O  chmod o-x archives/private
