[IPython-dev] IPEP 8: Custom messages and message handlers

Hi everyone,

I just posted an initial draft of an IPEP about adding custom message 
handlers on the server side (which also necessitates custom messages).

With that, I'm curious about the workflow for IPEPs.  Some IPEPs seem to 
use wiki pages, while others just directly use issues.  The nice thing 
about issues is that there is a way to have a conversation directly on 
the IPEP.  The bad thing is that the changes to an issue IPEP are not 
recorded.
