[IPython-dev] Brian and Vishal, help with #400600?

Hey guys,

I see you've been active on this one:

It's the last remaining bug on LP that both has a patch and is still
open, everything else with patches I've already committed.  Since bugs
with patches will be harder to auto-migrate to Gh, I'd like to close
them for good while still on LP where the patch is tracked, to
simplify life.

If you guys have a chance to clarify the status of this one before we
make the transition, it would be great.
