Hi all,

a small, shameless plug, copied straight from the News page (where I
just added it):

The [http://cise.aip.org/dbt/dbt.jsp?KEY=CSENFA&Volume=9&Issue=3
May/June 2007 issue] of the journal Computing in Science and
Engineering was entirely devoted to Python in scientific computing.
One of the [http://amath.colorado.edu/faculty/fperez/preprints/ipython-cise-final.pdf
featured articles is about IPython].

CiSE is fairly well read in scientific computing circles, so this
should be a big boon for Python in that field. And what we've heard
from the special issue managing editor (Paul Dubois, the original
Numeric project leader) is that the issue has proven to be one of
CiSE's most popular in a while, with lots of good feedback from their
readers.

Cheers,

f
