I think it's uncommon.is (not .js). I personally know Arpan and Rahul (from his early work at pixelogue http://pixelogue.in/) who are part of the collective and generally found their work nice. Do > everyone agree for it ? I think the first thing to decide what categories we have. The words are meaningless otherwise. Following is a summary which makes sense to me. Corrections are welcome. We have sponsors who give us money in exchange for things like advertising and space. These are regular sponsors and fall into 3 categories based on how much they're paying - Platinum, Gold and Silver. We then have partners who support us through effort (e.g. HasGeek, Mahiti etc.). We can list them under "partners" or "associates". The "associate sponsor" thing was something that came up, as far as I remember, in the first year. The idea was to open up a low cost sponsorship slab which would allow us to involve small companies and startups who are Python users. The privileges would be limited but the cost would be low enough for these folks to afford it and be part of the Python community here. I'm not sure if "associate sponsor" still means this and whether uncommon.is fits into this category. Some companies might sponsor specific aspects (e.g. travel) and then we can credit them as "travel partner" (or if their involvement is heavier and more financial "travel sponsor"). This sounds correct for uncommon and therefore, to me, the sensible thing is to credit them as a "design partner" ("Design sponsor" sounds contrived and weird). I think though, that these things need to be formalised before we decide on crediting parties in ways. We need to formalise where all we'll credit these various categories and that's what we need to do before we commit to uncommon. We can, however, tell them that they will be credited for their work - just that we're still working on the exact names and collateral that they'll recieve.
