Hi,

I try to install plone into my zope, it complaint that "PortalTransforms Problem importing module image_to_png : No module named PIL.Image". So I download the Python Imaging Library 1.1.6 Source Kit <http://effbot.org/downloads/Imaging-1.1.6.tar.gz> (all platforms) from http://www.pythonware.com/products/pil/
I did the follow steps as in the README file
$ gunzip Imaging-1.1.6.tar.gz
        $ tar xvf Imaging-1.1.6.tar
        $ cd Imaging-1.1.6
        $ python setup.py install
I go a lot funny stuff on the screen and end with "error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1"
Anywhere that I can get the Python Imaging Library for Ububtu version 7.10?
Best Regards,
Linda Ang
