seeing the bug report isn't necessarily the same thing as having time to 
work on a fix ;-)

my guess is that the file uses some less common file format feature, 
which causes either freetype or the _imagingft binding to choke, but I 
need a copy of the font file to be sure (either mail it to me, or post 
it somewhere and mail me a link).
