[Image-SIG] how to get the compresses data of multipage tiffs

Hello,

i want to generate PDF-documents from multipage tiffs with reportlab which relies on PIL. The 
reportlab library gets the image data with the function img_obj.tostring(). This function gives back 
the decoded and uncompressed image. This is not necessary for my purposes. I just need the 
raw compressed data to embed the image in a PDF file. Is there a function in PIL that I can use 
for this?
