[IMAGE-SIG] pointer to image data ?

Hi!

Is there a way to set a pointer to image data from another
shared library to an image structure (imagep->image) of
Imaging library ?
It could be done using semaphore (shared memory) - but is there
another way, except the froomstring copy method ?
