[PYTHON IMAGE-SIG] Displaying images in X11 extension

Hi -

Is it possible to use Sjoerd Mullender's X(11) Python extension to
display images from PIL ?  Is it as simple as pasting a PIL RGB image
into a visual.CreateImage() with the format ZPixmap ?  I would like to
do this without going through Jack's Img extension.
