From andyhasit at gmail.com Mon Apr 20 05:43:42 2020 From: andyhasit at gmail.com (Andrew Buchan) Date: Mon, 20 Apr 2020 10:43:42 +0100 Subject: [Python Edinburgh] Django position in Edinburgh Message-ID: Hi all, I hope you're all coping with the lock down and staying safe and sane. The company I work at (NovarumDx, formerly at codebase, now on Semple Street with a dozen friendly staff) has an opening for a full time permanent django developer. The ad, attached below, is written by HR of the parent company (BBI, a multinational medical device manufacturer) so I'll translate: We're looking for a django dev, and will consider a reasonably wide spectrum of experience as there is some flexibility in the team. The product is web portals for displaying results collected from image processing software on mobile devices for a variety of mostly medical uses. The work is almost entirely django, plus the bare minimum of front end that entails. The complexity comes from having a dozen clients all use similar but different versions of the same functionality, and also complying with medical grade quality procedures. It can be quite a challenge, but we've got a pretty slick and constantly evolving bespoke system in place to manage that. We need someone who is conscientious, capable of dealing with complex levels of architecture, and eager to learn. Anything else you bring to the table such as front end skills, dev ops experience, UI design and paper aeroplane building skills will lend weight to your application. I'm currently the team lead for the django side of things, and have to say it's a really chilled and pleasant place to work. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't! Here is the ad, feel free to contact me, or to apply through the ad, whichever you feel most comfortable with. https://bbigroup.peoplehr.net/Pages/JobBoard/Opening.aspx?v=daec0532-fc18-4ac9-a8f9-b21b00a431f5 Kind regards, Andrew -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
