Any chance this could be made (much) clearer on:

http://pypi.python.org/pypi/virtualenv

Maybe an Installation section with text that contains the url to 
virutalenv.py?

If you tell me where the svn is and give me access, I'd be happy to have 
a go at tidying up whatever is used to generate the PyPI page...
