May be I have missed that, but if you also want to support binary packages, shouldn't be there a field for which python version it was compiled? (platforms is not enough, you could use python 1.5.2, 1.6 or 2.0 on Windows and it would have in all cases "windows" as platform.) Ok, this is dependy checking code, but this one isn't very hard to realize. Kind regards Rene Liebscher
