I figure that the uses of the "download" link is primarily for non-automated
use (users who want to track something down).  What other uses are there?
Maybe just having a "homepage" link will suffice?  If not, perhaps the
name should change from "download" to "source" or "source-download"
or the like.  To differentiate it from what the catalog consumers are most
likely to want to be downloading.
