Don't feel bad, Joe, you weren't the only one who fell for it.

Just to clarify: there is only one Distutils, the most recent code (as I
write this) is what's included in Python 1.6 alpha 1, the description at
www.python.org/sigs/distutils-sig remains valid, and the Distutils that
will be included in Python 1.6 final will not be substantially different
from what you've all been playing with.
