What permission issue are you experiencing?


I just had a look on the xml-rpc http://roundup.sourceforge.net/docs/xmlrpc.html

AFAIK, the security issue stands out.

SSL is not supported by default, so some proxying should be done.
Meanwhile, it would be better if it could support RSA (or alike) for
authentication. Either storing the password in plaintext locally or
typing it everytime when needed is a little laborious. (Though we
could use gnome-keyring or osx keychain, but it's another topic).


The b.p.o is also under HTTP not HTTPS, might be another issue on the agenda.
