Hi everyone,

I learned today that there's a new "Events" category for announcing
events to the community on discuss.python.org:

https://discuss.python.org/c/events/33

You may want to post your announcements there as well, in addition to
the many other mailing lists, websites, calendars, etc.

Since I know how much work this is, perhaps we ought to have a sprint at
some point on how make this kind event announcement dissemination more
streamlined - both for the event organizers and the potential attendees.

Shameless plug: Don't forget to get your events added to our Python
Events calendars:
https://wiki.python.org/moin/PythonEventsCalendar#Submitting_an_Event

Cheers,
