Also it sounds good for a project night activity. Sometimes people who show
up to monthly events have an interest in python but don't know where to go
from the tutorials. They don't have any projects to work on.

Maybe the conference software work is something you can offer to people who
show up to project nights. I haven't done it yet because I have been
helping someone work on a hackerspace django app and I don't have a
volunteer to help guide people to work on conference stuff. If any of you
are interested in doing it (remotely is ok) talk to me. The timezone would
be UTC/CMT -5.

I think you could also try contacting people who run Open Source Comes to
Campus events near you if you have any tasks that would fit. I have helped
with a few, and finding projects to offer students is valuable and
