[Ontario Regional Contact Jam]

people coming from out of town, and we hope to offer housing to them all.
You don’t have to attend the jam to participate, and you don’t need to
provide any food. All you need is a spare floor. If you or someone you know

If you, or someone you know, is new to contact improvisation, consider our
Friday morning class (details below). Following the class, participants can
choose to continue with more of the jam. But note that all classes and all
pre-jam warm-ups will welcome beginners.This jam is fully wheelchair
accessible. For those who request ASL translation, attendant care, or have

introductory class for people new to contact improvisation at 10 am on
Friday, March 30.The class is included free as part of full-weekend
registration — or the cost is $20 for Friday morning from 9 am to 2 pm,
including the class, lunch, and dancing time.  You have the option to
upgrade your registration to attend more of the jam.Though this class is
focused on total beginners, note that we welcome all levels of experience
and all variations in physical ability in all classes.We welcome you — all
of youIt is important for us that everyone feels welcome: people who are
new to dance, people with disabilities, all kinds of bodies, minds and
hearts; that all gender and gender expressions are welcome, womyn and men;
cis and trans; of all ages, sizes and shapes, skin colours, cultures,
subcultures and countercultures; that gays, lesbian, bi, queer and straight
people are welcome. Whatever your story or the story of your people, your
mother tongue, you are welcome, the fullness of you is welcome, no parts
left out. Whatever your mind state, whether your heart is heavy or light,
troubled or clear. If there’s a way we can better include all parts of you,
please let us know; we want to know. We are perfectly imperfect beings. We
are going to make mistakes, and we want to learn from them and to create a
