I'll just throw in a plug for Mochikit. I like it because the developer,
Bob Ippolito, is also a Python developer and many of the function names
and patterns (deferred, etc.) are similar to Python (and Twisted).
Therefore it is a little easier to move back and forth between them.

There is also a graphing add-on module that can use SVG to render
charts.
