[AstroPy] sigma filter in astropy

Hi
I have this function in IDL that compares the value of each pixel with the
mean of the box around it and if the value of the pixel is bigger than the
mean plus 3sigma it is replaced by the mean of the box. Is there any
function in astropy doing something similar to that?
