[AstroPy] Writing CDS-format ASCII tables

Hi all,

I see that the Astropy CDS table interface doesn't support writing
tables, which isn't at all surprising since the format is so complex
and finicky. Is anyone aware of any tools out there to assist in
generating such tables? I'm definitely OK with using something not
written in Python if it gets the job done.
