There's an interesting exchange in the comments about measuring community size 
where someone compares the volume of postings to forums about PHP and Python, 
with a follow-up noting that the opposite conclusion would be drawn if 
mailing list volumes were compared. Such things are always worth considering 
when attempting to measure and project programming language trends.
